Principal's Message
Thank you for your interest in our school. Located in the southeast corner of Rocky View School Division, Indus School serves a diverse population of approximately 170 students, in Kindergarten through Grade 9, from the hamlets of Indus, Shepard, and Dalemead, along with the surrounding areas.
Although small, our recently modernized school has top-level resources. We have an “elementary” sized gym with a well-stocked equipment room, a library boasting over 12,000 items, a large playground with an extensive "jungle gym" setup, a one-to-one computer program in Grades 7 & 8, and a cutting-edge Makerspace boasting traditional hand and power tools along with a 3D printer, laser cutter, and CNC router.
Our on-site support services include a Learning Support teacher, four Learning Assistants, and a Child Development Advisor. We also receive support from external specialists including an Educational Psychologist, Program Specialist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech/Language Pathologist, and Family/School Liason Worker.
